Push down moves products that meet your stock conditions towards the bottom of a collection. The products stay visible. Use it when you want shoppers to see available products first without removing low-stock products from the collection.
You turn on Push down for each collection that needs it. Set an inventory threshold and choose whether to measure total stock, variants or selected SKUs. You can exclude products by tag and leave stock at selected locations out of the calculation. See Choose Push down conditions for the options.
Set up and manage collections
Start with Set up Push down for a collection for the first collection. To switch it on or change settings across several collections, see Apply Push down to multiple collections.
When stock returns, the product can go back to its previous place in a collection sorted Manually in Shopify. For other Shopify sort orders, that sort decides its position. See Restore restocked products to their previous positions for the setting and an example.
